Greetings
"The Hungarian Post is going to join the stamp series called Greetings internationally so that for making our best wishes more personalized we can use stamps with flowers, in this case such ones depicting wild flowers. Red Poppy (papaver rhoeas) It is wide-spread in lowlands and in highlands and in Eurasia and is typical mostly on dry soils and on lands sown with corn. It is growing for one year. Its four opposite petals in a cross and flaming red become purplish when dried. Stalkless Gentian (gentiana acaulis) It is a perennial plant. The about 6 cm long flower stands on top of the stalk on a very short stem. It flowers from April until August. It is typical in the Alps and on alpine meadows and cliffs in the neighbourhood of the Alps, it is, however, native in our country, too. "
