"This year’s new stamp shows stylised motifs, an angel and tree decorations, on a deep red background. The commemorative cover accompanying the stamp is decorated with a child-like drawing of gifts. The main motif of the commemorative postmark is the candle. Adapted to current tariffs, the HUF 28 postage stamp depicting a landscape from 2000 has been reprinted. The stamp was made following the graphic artist Júlia Gyüre’s designs, with a perforation size of 30 x 30.77 mm, by offset printing in the State Printers and issued in sheets of 50. It is being reprinted to meet demand. Bearing customer demands in mind, both stamps will be issued in the practical form of a stamp booklet containing 10 stamps, which fits conveniently into a purse or wallet. Like this the Post Office ensures you can always have the booklet of stamps handy. Following traditions, there will be commemorative cancellation during the weeks of Advent between 2nd and 26th December 2001 in Nagykarácsony, a village whose name means in Hungarian. A message sent with the special ‘’ cancellation is a nice present for your loved ones living far away. "
