"Chair On the 2 forint stamp a carved, wooden chair, known locally as the stool, is depicted. It was made in 1838 and comes from Tiszafüred in Heves County. Chair On the 3 forint stamp there is a carved and gilded chair made of beech, with dainty, thin, bow legs and a wavy-ended back. It was made in Hungary at the end of the 19th century and has a caned seat and back. Armchair On the 9 forint stamp a rail-backed armchair from the second half of the 18th century can be seen. The painted, carved, wooden chair was made in Dunapataj. Neo-Gothic chair On the 26 forint stamp a gilded and black-painted wooden chair from about 1850 is depicted. The chair is decorated with tall, carved, neo-Gothic tracery and is upholstered with red, embroidered roses on a black ground. Chair On the 29 forint stamp there is a painted, wooden chair. It was made in 1879 by an unknown craftsman in Magyargéc in Nógrád County, and its back is decorated with an animal silouette. ArmchairOn the 30 forint stamp there is an armchair designed by Károly Nagy in 1935. The large, white spotted cushions contrast sharply with the red ground of the low, beech, curved-backed armchair.
